About the 2011 Tourney:

Ken Rauseo, a 7 year MRTP Tourney attendee, shown with the winning 4 lb 2 oz Large Mouth Bass
Ken is a regular and has attended the tourney every year - he's also a past 'Lunker' winner and placed third last year with 'High Hook' (the most fish caught over 12").

Ken Rauseo shown with the First Place Prize - An Ocean Kayak Prowler 15' Angler.
The Second place award, for top 3 combined weight was won by TJ Boucher - another regular MRTP Tourney attendee.
The Third Place award - 'High Hook' (or the MOST 12"+ fish) was won by Jim Rauseo - Yes, Ken's Brother, and yet another long term participant.
It appears that the 'Regulars' have learned the way to fish Pawtuckaway, or the 'ropes' so to say.
The 2011 tourney appeared to be a great success and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
We had a full compliment of 35 kayakers and boarded 56 bass (all over 12").
Our 'tag-a-long' - 'live wells' worked well and all fish were released alive.
It seemed that everybody enjoyed the cookout & awards gathering after the tourney.
Special Thanks to our 2010 'Weigh-in' boats: 6 roving 'weigh-in' boats will be on the water all day. These boats have a yellow flag displayed for identification and can be called by cell phone for contact.
