We offer many solutions to carry your canoe or kayak. From very inexpensive 'custom' foam blocks & straps (under $30) to roof racks or trailers. We also help you load your boat(s) and show you how to do the same. Yes, we actually go out to the parking lot.
Shawn Roche, InstructorAt Mountain Road Trading Post we offer two types of lessons geared to those new to kayaking or for beginners looking to increase their skill and safety:
Lessons begin in June. We take into consideration the weather, water temperature and a paddlers' experience level when planning your lessons.
We schedule lessons by appointment only. Class sizes can vary from 1 to 6 people. Bring your own kayaks or we can provide you with one of our rental kayaks.
We generally schedule classes on Saturdays but, special arrangements can often by accommodated by previous arrangement.
